Your air conditioning system needs servicing at least every two years,to remove any dirt, air and water. Every year up to 20% of the refrigerant can escape from the system due to natural evaporation

Over a longer period air and humidity penetrate the system, this can be aided even further by leaks or porous “o” rings. If this happens, the air conditioning no longer performs at full capacity. The humidity and refrigerant form an acid. In turn, this attacks various components in the system which can lead to enormous repair bills. Another enemy is dirt, which is produced by the mechanical operation of the compressor, due to the quality of the oil being reduced by a build up of acid. This can lead to a total failure of the system.

(2) Vacuum out any moisture.

(3) Leak test

(4)Refill with fresh oil and refrigerant.

(5)Inject a “uv” dye to assist in the detection of any future leaks.
